RETOUR À L'ESSENTIEL : PRINCIPE D'AJUSTEMENT RÉTRACTABLE
Le diamètre intérieur de la frette[1]est conçu pour être légèrement plus petit que le diamètre de la tige[2]de l'outil de coupe.
Lorsqu'il est placé dans l'inducteur[3]et le cycle est démarré, l'alésage intérieur est chauffé en raison du champ magnétique élevé localisé[4]générer. L'intérieur ∅ se dilate. La tige de l'outil de coupe peut alors être glissée facilement dans le support. Au fur et à mesure que le porte-outil refroidit, la contraction thermique qui en résulte exerce une énorme pression uniforme sur toute la surface de la tige de l'outil.
